Julie Anne Smith, A.K.A. Julianne Moor is a Hollywood writer and actor that has won critical acclaim for her talents. Sagittarius. Born at the age of 3 in North Carolina December 3, 1960. She's the eldest child of Peter Moore Smith a paratrooper and Anne, a psychology student. She's of English and Scottish origin. Moore struggled as her family was constantly relocated due to their dad's work. Moore began acting in plays in the year she attended Frankfurt American High School when her family relocated to Germany. She continued her education at Boston University where she graduated in 1983 with a B.F.A. Moore graduated in 1983, with a B.F.A. Moore made the move in New York after graduating and began her career with off-broadway stage. Moore first appeared on an episode of The Edge of Night, which aired on television in 1985. In 1986 she was cast in two roles as Sabrina Hughes, and Frannie Hughes for As the World Turns. The role provided her with an opportunity that ultimately resulted in her success. In 1988 she was a part-time actor on the show and received a Daytime Emmy Award. In 1990, she made a debut in the cinema world with Tales from the Darkside: The Movie.
