Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman has been a gymnast in the United States for more than ten seasons. She was part of and was captain of both the US Olympic Women's Gymnastics Team Fierce Five (2012) as well as the Final Five (2016). At the 2012 Olympics she took gold in both team floor and the individual competitions. The bronze medal was awarded through the balance bar. It made her the Olympic gymnast who won the most medals. In the 2016 Olympics she won an Olympic gold medal in the team event that brought her and her teammate Gabby Douglas the credit of been the first Americans to have two consecutive gold medals for the team. In addition, she was awarded silver medals in the individual all-around event as well as for the floor workout. Three years had passed between her last appearance in gymnastics competitions. Additionally she was a part of two gold medal-winning American team in gymnastics. She learned gymnastics from the age of two and her favorite event is Floor Exercise. Aly is a supporter of the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organisation in memory her grandmother, who died from cancer. Aly plans on pursuing a career in fashion and is looking to increase her signature line of leotards and socks later on. She is writing a book called Fierce that will be released at the end of this year.
